Coffee was great, friendly service. Place was....they had some table and seats even a corner where you can take some books to read. But it was quite loud A lot of parking spaces .

The best coffee shop in town. The owner is incredibly personable and loves getting to know the customers. Higher Groundz has a great sense of community, not to mention a relaxing environment and delicious coffee!

Best coffee shop in Maryland heights. The owner is an angel and will remember yiur name. Tjey give great advice if you need some for a drink and do a lot of custom with no problem. Cheaper and better than starbucks

Didn't realize till we got here that "Higher grounds" was located in a church building! It truly felt like God led us here. Lol. Our coffee was amazing! Just what we needed for our 16 hour drive back to Texas. Service was great the Barista was amazing, kind and very welcoming, explaining all the drink options. I was in the mood for something Pumpkin spiced and she delivered! My husband got his usual boring black coffee with some expresso shots but he did admit it tasted better than he thought. 10 out 10, do recommend 👌 👍 👏 😎

Absolutely the BEST coffee, tea, & drinks ever and I have lived in 5 states & try coffee EVERYWHERE! Their frappes are INCREDIBLE!! They have a very large variety, mixed-flavor options, multiple lactose-free options, & the VERY BEST sugar-free options that don't leave a strange sweetener taste in your mouth. You can call-in orders to a friendly staff, better price than Starbucks & FAR better taste (no comparison), punch-card with free drink after 10 punches, incredible cookies & desserts, wonderful teas, smoothies, hot chocolate (hot or frozen with multiple flavors), even items to buy! Nice Christian company & environment. Large area to sit down or have meetings even. THE BEST!!!

We have been loving going here. The atmosphere is nice and friendly. The drinks are great! People are friendly. They have games and cards you can play. It has become a regular spot to hang out. I used to be a regular at Starbucks. Everyone in my group agrees that the quality is better here. If you haven't made the time to patronize this establishment... I highly recommend you give it a try!

The coffee is excellent, a solid menu with enough variety to keep any caffeine enthusiast happy. But the staff are the real reason I found myself walking back through the door the very next morning. Warm, genuine, and clearly passionate about what they do. They turned a great cup of coffee into a reason to come back.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

An absolute favorite coffee spot! When entering, the staff is so welcoming and are happy to greet the customers who quickly feel like friends. The menu includes a great variety with classic favorite beverages and seasonal additions. Each cup is specially brewed for outstanding flavor. Higher Groundz also provides space for small gatherings and meetups. Give Higher Groundz a try! You will be delighted!

When I walked into this coffee shop, I loved how Natalie asked “Is this your first time!” Because usually I walk into a place and tell them it’s my first time to get their recommendations. Natalie delivered me an awesome coffee and experience. She was kind enough to ask me my name, go over the menu , and provide me recommendations based of my likes and dietary needs. I don’t think I’ve ever experienced lol any coffee shop experience like that in my life. I got the Higher Groundz Mocha frozen and the most delicious red velvet cookie I’ve ever had in my life! If I could give this place 10 stars I would and best part it’s right across from my office. Probably just canceled my Starbucks rewards today😆 thank you Natalie for making me feel warm and welcome ! I will be back!!!

I've been to this hidden gem dozens of times with my kids. The space is very versatile with spaced out 2- and 4-top tables and a partition to opens to double the size. Always seasonal specials (to order at the coffee bar or to pickup for holidays) and decorations. Mainly small treats like cookies, brownies, small sweet bread loaves, and such. Lots of syrups for your drinks. You can pick up some swag, like mugs, shirts, stickers, magnets, tumblers, and sweatshirts. Christian vibe. Plenty of regulars with relationships with the baristas and bakers. Posters for events related to the church congregation. If you're looking to support a local spot and are willing to slow down a bit (it's not Starbucks speed), you'll find good service and a calm space worth the trip. ☕
